Health and Sun Exposure

Although there is little solar radiation reaching the Earth’s surface, their benefits are the effects on our psyche to give us sense of health and stimulation to help synthesize vitamin D, we must protect ourselves from them so systematic .
If we reduce 20% sun exposure will reduce by one third the chance of developing skin cancer. Therefore, protection from the sun is a good decision.
The question is how to protect themselves from solar radiation, for this we propose five basic rules sunscreen that we will see one by one.
1. USING photoprotective
• are substances applied to the skin to protect it from the damaging effects of ultraviolet radiation. May be:
• Physical (which form a barrier ever getting radiation)
• Chemicals (which absorb radiation and become not harmful)
• Biological (which increase the defenses of the skin)
Keep in mind that there is no total protection to control the degree of protection use the sun protection factor (SPF).
The sun protection factor is a number that expresses the ability of a product to protect against sunburn. We use a broad-spectrum sunscreen that protects us from UVB and UVA.
But how do we choose the right sunscreen ?. For this we must take into account the skin type we have, but in any case it is advisable to use a minimum SPF of +30
If you have already chosen our sunscreen, how we apply ?. The photoresist must apply it at home 30 minutes before sun exposure so generous (2mcg / cm2) and renew the product every two hours, after swimming and after each sweating. The purpose of a sunscreen product does not increase the total hours of sun exposure that we can have but permit a reasonable sun exposure and risk.
